My only complaint is the price. $399 for both Hyperresearch and Hypertranscribe seems like a lot of money. I will be holding on that purchase for a bit.

Hyperresearch was the best choice for a Mac user such as myself. It appears to have all of the features that you would need for coding and analyzing your data, and they make a transcription software as well. Coding features mesh with a chronological organization of your entries that can also overlap between different projects. Most important, you can use it on a Mac OS X.
